Hey, I’m Briquelle!

If you’ve landed on this page, you probably want to know a little more about the girl behind the camera at Briquelle Kayanne Photography. I appreciate you wanting to make sure we’ll be a good fit! Chances are, you’re going through a new life chapter & are wanting it captured by a photographer you feel comfortable working with.

First and foremost, I want you to know that making you feel comfortable is a top priority. No couple is the same, and I completely acknowledge the fact that every couple will move at a different pace when it comes to getting pictures taken.

I can be as hands-on as you need / want me to be! Typically, I’ll get an understanding of how much direction each couple needs from answering my questionnaire and within the first few minutes of working together.

My personal style of shooting consists of prompts that flow into natural movements together as well as some classic posed shots. This way, we’ll make sure we’re getting a mix of you two focused on each other and also looking at the camera!

Besides being totally obsessed with my job,

- trying new coffee shops with my husband is one of our favorite things to do (choosing between coffee or matcha is always a struggle though!)

- I’m a ‘boy mom’ and love connecting with other moms in the same season of life!

- I’m excited to now be offering wedding photography in MN & WI (Midwest couples, I’m comin’ for ya!)

- saying that I romanticize food is an understatement (if you don’t finish your plate, there’s a good chance I will)

- I have a golden retriever & a cattle dog-great pyrenees mix so double the fur ALL over our house

- lake life is my love language (I grew up spending summers at our family cabin in the Midwest)

- I’m happiest when I’m able to be active—wake surfing, playing volleyball, going on walks… if it’s outside, I’m in!

- once you meet me, you’ll realize that I’m super easy going, good vibes only around here!
