Most couples book their engagement session anywhere from one to three months in advance, especially during Arizona’s busiest photography seasons in the spring and fall.

If you have a specific date, season, or location in mind, I recommend reaching out as early as possible to ensure availability. Sunset dates during peak months tend to book the quickest.

That said, if your timeline is shorter, don’t hesitate to reach out! If I have availability, I’d love to make it happen.

I carefully adjust color, exposure, contrast, white balance, and other details to create a polished gallery while preserving natural skin tones and the beauty of the landscape around you. My goal is always to create images that feel elevated without looking over-edited.

Lighting plays one of the biggest roles in creating beautiful engagement photos, which is why I typically recommend scheduling sessions during golden hour—the hour before sunset.

Arizona sunsets create some of the most beautiful light for engagement photos, especially against the desert landscapes around Phoenix. The warm, soft glow during golden hour is flattering for skin tones, enhances the natural colors of the landscape, and creates the romantic, timeless feel you see throughout my portfolio.

Because Arizona light can be strong and harsh during the middle of the day, I schedule most engagement sessions around sunset to take advantage of the softer desert lighting. The exact start time will vary depending on the season, location, and sunset time, which is why I’ll help you choose the ideal timing once we decide on your session location.

Absolutely! Dogs are always welcome, and I love when couples include them as part of their story.

If you’re planning to bring your pup, I’ll help you choose a dog-friendly location and share a few tips beforehand to help your session run smoothly. Many couples choose to have a family member or friend come along to hold the leash when they’re not in photos, which makes the experience even easier.

Your engagement session should reflect your life together, and if your dog is part of that, I’d love to include them.

I don’t deliver RAW (unedited) images because editing is an important part of my artistic process. Every image you receive is carefully hand-edited in my signature style to reflect the quality and experience you see throughout my portfolio.
